Zoom¶

Description¶

Zoom is a popular video conferencing application for online meetings, webinars, and collaboration.

Overview¶

This role installs Zoom through package_install with the zoom id. meta/packages.yml declares it as an AUR package on Arch Linux and as a deliberate no-op on the Debian and RedHat families, which do not archive the proprietary client.

Cosmos¶

The diagram places Zoom in the Infinito.Nexus cosmos: the components it deploys (capabilities), the central services it consumes (dependencies), and its outward reach (federation and bridged external networks).

Solid 1:1 edges are fixed relationships; dashed 0..1 edges are conditional (enabled only in matching deployments); red 0..0 edges are turned off in this role. Quick Setup¶

Development¶

Clone, set up the workstation, and deploy Zoom onto the local stack:

Production¶

Install Zoom directly onto the target machine: clone the repository, install the OS prerequisites and the repository toolchain, then deploy against localhost over a local connection (no SSH, no container):
